ACS Training Centres offer many courses for the professional Plumber who wishes to re-take or extend his range of competent person category holding in Natural Gas, ACS for CORGI Operatives, or liquid petroleum gas (LPG). This might be CCN1, CKR1, MET1, WAT1, HTR1, LAU1, CEN1 for domestic etc.
ACS for CORGI Operatives, within the Domestic, Commercial or Catering sectors, Oil, OFT certificates for OFTEC Technicians including OFT 101, OFT 102, OFT 105E, OFT 600A, Solid Fuel, HETAS certificates for HETAS Solid Fuel Engineers, Part L - Energy Efficiency for CORGI Operatives working with Central Heating, Part P - Electrical, Unvented Hot Water Systems, Water Regulation compliance etc. Renewables including Solar & Heat pumps are also available.

We try to make attending our courses as easy as possible for you by operating a network of Alpha Training Centres, a Mobile Training Unit (MTU) and even an Online facility.
The MTU (Mobile Training Unit) caters specifically for those installers who don't live within reach of one of our Training Centres.
Equipped with full multimedia presentation facilities, IT equipment and working boilers, the MTU travels to wherever there is a significant training need.

Alpha Academy Online
In co-operation with City & Guilds, Alpha is the first boiler manufacturer to offer Global On-Line Assessment (GOLA) for the 6084 Certificate in Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating.
This certificate is a pre-requisite for installers wishing to self-certify their work under CORGI's Competent Persons Scheme. It is now possible to obtain assessment and immediate confirmation of results at Alpha's Mobile Training Unit or its HQ in Kent.
